	Meeting time and place
	The meeting will be held from 26 to 29 November 2007 (Monday to Thursday inclusive), at the Kish Shaygan Hotel, Kish , Iran . Starting time will be 9.30 am on Monday 26 November. The caretaker Chairperson is Dr Somvanshi from India (somvanshi@rediffmail.com) CANCELLED

	Getting there
	Iran Airlines or Kish Airlines. Kish Airlines flies to Kish from Dubai . Please note that using Iran Airlines means that you will have to first arrive in the mainland of Iran and because there is no direct flight from the International Airports to Kish *you will need a visa* . It is recommended that participants take the Dubai route using Kish Air.

	Visas
	For Kish, visas are only required for African, Bangladeshi and Iraqi passport holders.

	Hotels
	The Shaygan Hotel - where the meeting is being held – has been recommended by our Iranian colleagues ( http://www.kishshyganhotel.com/eng/index.html ) . Rates start at around US$ 115 per night. Two alternative hotels are the Daryoush and Parmis Hotels. ( http://www.kishtpc.com/photos_Daryoush_Hotels.htm ). These hotels start at around US$ 140 - 190. Taxis are available from the airport . Mr Vahid Tofighi, Deputy of PR & Intl. Affairs of Iran Fisheries Organization, will be on hand to assist you with information and hotel bookings. Email: vtofighi@gmail.com

	Internet connections
	The hotel has wireless in the lobby and conference hall but not in the rooms.

	Money
	USD1 is around 9300 IRR (Iran Rial) / Euro 1 is around 13230 IRR Note : Kish Island has no system for credit cards payment and all transactions are carried out in cash.

	Registration
	Please register for the meeting on the IOTC website ( www.iotc.org ). It is important we have names and numbers well before the meeting.
